Majestic Rivers sits deep in Tanzania's unspoilt Selous Wilderness : Africa's largest protected ecosystem : on wild rivers that hold a large and wild Tigerfish population most of the world has never heard of. This is tigerfishing's new frontier, and it fishes like the 80s never ended.

The fishery draws on the wild river systems feeding the Nyerere Dam, creating an extraordinary concentration of blue tigerfish rarely encountered anywhere else on the continent. Surface action runs all day long. Huge blue tigerfish corral baitfish on open flats, ambush in current seams, and launch themselves at poppers with the aggression that made the species legendary. Two guests per boat means your guide's full attention is on you : no sharing, no compromises.

Getting here is part of the adventure. The package includes a private charter flight from Dar es Salaam direct to the grass airstrip inside the reserve : no long road transfers, no layovers in bush camps.
